WATER SPORT

PARASAILING
The parasailor is strapped into a harness which is attached to the parasail canopy and connected to the speed boat via a rope. Basic steering instructions for landings are given before takeoff. Once the parasailor is ready, the beach crew signals the boat driver to power up and tighten the tow rope inflating the parasail canopy. The parasailor is then instructed to step, walk or run forward towards the boat/line. The boat speeds up sending the parasailor skyward. Once aloft, altitude is controlled by boat speed. Initially the boat travels into the wind the boat speed is constantly adjusted to maintain the desired height. The driver reduces speed hence allowing the parasail to descend. The parasailor is signaled to steer the canopy right or left which is achieved by pulling on the right or left rear risers, the boat slows until the parasailor has landed.

WAKE BOARD
Wakeboarding is a surface water sport which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water. It was developed from a combination of water skiing, snow board and surfing techniques. The rider is usually towed behind a motor boat; typically at speeds of 18-24 miles per hour board and surfing techniques.And depend on the water conditions, board size, rider’s weight and rider’s comfort speed.

RIDING
Using edging techniques, the rider can move outside of the wake or cut rapidly in toward the wake. Jumps are performed by hitting the wake and launching into the air. This can also be done by hitting a kicker (a jump).
There is also the slider (a rail bar) in which a rider approaches and rides along keeping his balance. Once a rider improves in the sport, he or she can progress to tricks high in the air. As the rope tightens the rider gains speed toward the wake.
When the rider goes airborne, the tightened rope launches him. While in the air the rider attempts to do tricks.

SNORKELING
Snorkeling (British spelling: snorkelling) is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel and usually swimfins. Using this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods of time with relatively little effort.
Snorkeling is a popular recreational activity, particularly at tropical resort and scuba diving locations. The primary attraction is the opportunity to observe underwater life in a natural setting without the complicated equipment and raining required for scuba diving, and without the exhaled bubbles of scuba diving equipment.

GLASS BOTTOM BOAT
A glass bottom boat is a boat with sections of glass, or other suitable transparent material, below the waterline allowing passengers to observe the underwater environment from within the boat. The view through the glass bottom is better than simply looking into the water from above, because one does not have to look through optically erratic surface disturbances. The effect is similar to that achieved by a diving mask, while the passengers are able to stay dry, out of the water.

WATER SKI
Waterskiing is a sport in which an individual (or more than one individual) is pulled behind a motor boat on a body of water. The skier is either wearing one (“slalom”) or two (“double”) skis.
The surface area of the ski (skis) keeps the person skimming on the surface of the water allowing the skier to stand upright while holding onto a tow rope.

FLY FISH
The ultimate in speed and exhilaration the Flying Fish is the newest water sports toy on the market! Two people sit either side of the fish and hold on tight as the aerodynamics of the beast allow it to ‘fly’ as it gathers speed behind the boat.
Alternatively one person lies in the middle and looks on through the window as you take off.

BANANA BOAT
Banana boat is an inflatable recreational boat meant for towing by speed boat.
Different models usually accommodate three to ten rides sitting on a larger, main tube & resting their feet on two laterally flanking tubes which stabilize the boat. During the ride, the driver of the powered boat attempts to flip the banana boat upside – down by doing sharp turns for fun. Riders should always wear life jacket for safety reasons.

JET SKI
Much like a motorcycle, acceleration in a jet ski is provided by a hand powered throttle located on the right side grip. By twisting the throttle, the driver can increase power to the motor. Steering a jet ski requires a combination of pointing the front-mounted grips and maneuvering the body. Unlike a street motorcycle, a jet ski often requires significant a jet ski is part water skiing device and part speedboat, with a definite hint of motorcycle during operation. Instead of the traditional propeller or screw motor, a jet ski uses an enclosed gas-powered motor to literally push water out in a jet stream.

TURTLE ISLAND
Turtle island tour is an exciting tour to visit a small island covered by white sand with turtle conservation located in Tanjung Benoa, South part of Bali. The tour is designed very attractive by crossing the beautiful beach with Glass Bottom Boat.

KNEE BOARD
Kneeboarding is an aquatic sport where the participant is towed on a buoyant, convex, and hydrodynamically shaped board at a planning speed behind a motor boat. In the usual configuration of a tow sport kneeboard, riders sit on their heels on the board, and secure themselves to the deck with an adjustable strap over their thighs.
As in wakeboarding or water skiing, the rider hangs onto a tow-rope. The forte of knee boarding vis-a-vis other tow-sports seems to be an easier learning curve and a sense of being closer to the water when falls occur. To get started, you simply need a tow rope, a kneeboard and a boat that can go about 15-20 mph (28-32 km/h).
A benefit about kneeboarding is the start is fairly simple and the rider does not need to travel very quickly. If the rider happens to fall, it usually does not discourage them from trying again.

DOLPHIN WATCHING TOUR
This tour departs from Tanjung Benoa, the marine sport center in Bali to explore the blue Indian Ocean with the power boat.
There are many spot points that have been appointed to see the group of dolphins. Within 30 minutes or an hour drive on boat, we will meet the group of dolphins with spectacular of jumping attraction and follow the running of boat.

TUBING
As with anything involving water, high speeds and heady thrills, safety is of primary concern, and the popular water sport of tubing is certainly no exception.
Tubing is an exciting way to experience the thrill of high speed water sports without the need for special skills or training and as such is popular with all ages and types. Tubing is where a large inner tube or rubber ring is tethered to a power boat and then one or more tube riders, or tubers, are towed at high speeds across large rivers, lakes or coastal waters.

DIVE WALKER

is an unique 32 kg full clear shield helmet made from stainless steel.
This helmet will help you to explore underwater to a depth of 7 to 8 meters, easily and safely. Children minimum age of 12 years old and adult up to 80 years (condition apply)
is allowed to do dive walker.
Before the activity, you have to fill in the safety information form and after that the dive instructor will brief you in detail, how to use hand signals, how to equalize your ear and also the safety procedure in case of emergency. You have to wear special wet suit & boots before doing the activity to protect you from biota disturbed like jelly fish, etc.

Is it possible to dive wear glasses or contact lenses?
Yes. With helmet diving system you will only get wet at the part of chin. The wearer of the helmet does not have water enter the helmet. You can wear your glass or contact lenses.

Will someone be with me?
Yes. You will be accompanied by a trained dive walker instructor during activity.

Is Dive walker helmet heavy?
Dive walker helmets weight only 7kg underwater.

Is it possible to use personal camera?
Yes. You can use your own underwater camera, but make sure your underwater camera should be good at depth up to 8metres. Losses not included in insurance. Available underwater camera rental Rp.300.000 with CD burner included.

People of all age can join this activity?
Age Limit: 10 years old to 81 years old. Guest with hypertension, heart or lung problems, pregnant, respiratory ailments, on medication etc cannot dive.

Pre Arrival Information

This page has been put together to assist you with necessary information and a directory of the various services available.

Before you arrive:

Please think about bringing:

1. Personal mosquito repellant
2. Your iPod or any music you want to bring
3. Any DVD you want to watch, but most are available here
4. A photocopy of your passport will make things easier, but not essential
5. Electrical adapters, although there are some in the villa
6. Your swimmers and suntan lotion!
7. Any special medicines or special dietary requirements
8. No need to bring towels
9. If you want to rent a motor bike or car and have it waiting, let the booking staff know
10. If you want an extra foldaway bed, please book in advance (small extra charge)

Visa on Arrival (VoA):

Citizens of several countries (please check at the nearest Indonesian Embassy) will be able to apply for a VoA valid for either 7 or 30 days upon arrival. A 7-day visa costs US$10 and a 30-day visa costs US$25. (Your arrival day is counted as your first day, and you must leave the country on the 30th day!)

Travelers from the above countries must be in possession of a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival. They must also be able to prove they have sufficient funds for their stay in Indonesia.

Requirement and Types of Visa before Arrival

Citizens of countries neither on the VoA nor Visa-Free lists are required to apply for a visa overseas before travelling to Indonesia. Nationals of ALL countries planning to stay for more than 30 days in Indonesia also have to apply for the appropriate visa at an overseas Indonesian Consulate or Foreign Mission before departing for Indonesia.

On Arrival, please:

1. Let the staff borrow your passports for a short time. To comply with regulations we need to register all guests with the local police and therefore need your passport or a copy of your passport. Only registered guests can stay in the villa. If you like to bring other guests temporarily to the villa then we ask them to leave their identification with the security
2. Inform the staff what time you need help with breakfast the following day (if breakfast is included in your package)
3. Inform the staff what time you like to have housekeeping services, so that you are not disturbed, if you are not an early riser!
4. Let the staff know if you would like a special local meal cooked for you at the villa – ask the staff for options and prices – it’s a great option, and highly recommended!
5. The Keys in the doors to the bedrooms have one key for the Villa front door too…. Ensure you take it with you each time you go out, and lock the Villa

At any time:

1. If you like to order food from the restaurants then either call directly or ask the staff for assistance. The staff is available to serve the food during housekeeping hours or later by prior arrangement
2. If you need a taxi then either ask the staff or call 0361-724724.

On departure, please:

1. Ensure you have your airport pick-up booked – usually 2 hours before departure is ok – check with staff
2. Take all your belongings with you
3. Leave the safes OPEN
4. Leave all the keys in the doors
